Day 1.Pick up from the airport. Accommodation in the hotel. Free time (4-5 hours).Breakfast in the hotel. Yerevan City Tour (city center, Mother Armenia War Museum and Monument, Erebuni Museum and Fortress, Yerevan History Museum). Dinner. Excursion to Yerevan Brandy Factory (with the tasting). Stroll the streets of Yerevan city center.

Day 2.Breakfast in the hotel. Following to Echmiadzin central religious complex of Armenia, where the residence of Catholicos of all Armenians is located. Following to Sardarapat Memorial Complex and State Ethnographical Museum. Dinner. En route, visit to Zvartnots Temple ruins (VIIth century). Return to Yerevan and visiting the Museum of Sergey Parajanov.

Day 3.Breakfast in the hotel. Visiting Tsitsernakaberd Museum and Monument, commemorated

Armenian Genocide of 1915. Following to Ashtarak town and Karmravor church (VIIth century).Visit to Surb (St.) Gevorg Monastery in Mughni village. Dinner in a house of hospitable villagers(opportunity to get acquainted with the ritual of lavash baking – the traditional bread of Armenia). Following to Oshakan – the place of buried the creator of Armenian alphabet Mesrop Mashtots. Return to Yerevan. Free time.

Day 4.Breakfast in the hotel. Following to Khor Virap. This place is famous by the beautiful legend about Gregory the Illuminator – the person, who tried to spread Christianity in Armenia and was arrested by King Trdat III. Dinner. Following to Areni village, excursion to Areni Wine Factory (with tasting). Visit to Noravank Monastery (XIII-XIVth cc). Picnic on the river bank. Visit to Gladzor University (XIIIth century). Overnight in Sisian.

Day 5.Breakfast in the hotel. Following to Zorats Karer/Karaunj, which are also called “Stones of power” or “Singing Stones”. It’s the Armenian prototype of the Stonehenge. By several facts, it is more ancient that its English ‘counterpart’. Following to Tatev Monastic Complex (IX-XIIIth cc). Dinner. Visit to Kndzoresk – the area full of caves, where people lived till the beginning of 20th century. Accommodation in Stepanakert- the capital of Kharabagh.

Day 6.Breakfast in the hotel. Stepanakert City Tour - visit the historical museum of Artsakh, Gandzasar Monastery. Dinner. Following to Shoushi: visit Ghazanchetsots church (XIXth century), the Muslim Mosque (XIXth century) and Shoushi Fortress. Return to Stepanakert.

Day 7.Breakfast in the hotel. Following to Jermuk, the place famous for its health-resorts, hot mineral springs and waterfall. Dinner. Visit to Selim Caravanserai, built in 1332 by the prince Chesar Orbelian. Following to Noraduz village – where are hundreds of khachkars (cross-stones) are located. Visiting Hairivank Monastery (X-XIIIth cc). Accommodation in the hotel on the beach of Sevan.

Day 8.Breakfast in the hotel. Following to Lake Sevan – one of the most beautiful and breathtaking mountainous lakes in the world. Excursion to peninsula and visit St. Arakelots and St. Astvatsatsin churches (9th century). Following to Dilijan – the place, which is known as a little Switzerland in Armenia. Visit Gosh and Haghartsin Monasteries (XIIth century). Dinner. Visiting the molokans’ village (the Russians, who were expatriated from Russia for their religion by Ekaterina the Great Empress). Following to Vanadzor. Accommodation.

Day 9.Breakfast in the hotel. Following to Alaverdi and visiting Haghpat and Sanahin Monasteries, which are included in UNESCO list of the world architectural treasures. Dinner. Visit to St. Nshan church in Odzune village. Following to Gyumri. Accommodation.

Day 10.Breakfast in the hotel. Gyumri City Tour. Dinner. On the way back to Yerevan visiting the church (VIIth century) in Harich village. Free time.

Day 11.Breakfast in the hotel. Free time (visit the souvenirs shops, Vernisage, art-gallery). Dinner.

Day 12.Breakfast in the hotel. Excursion to Yerevan Brandy Factory with tasting. Following to Tsakhkadzor – a ski resort in winter and beautiful mountains in summer. You will have opportunity to see them from above, while riding the cable way. Dinner. Return to Yerevan.

Day 13.Breakfast in the hotel. Following to Aragatsotn Marz (region). Visiting Ohanavank (Vth century) and Sahmosavank (XIIIth c.) Monasteries. Following to Amberd Fortress. Picnic. Return to Yerevan.

Day 14.Breakfast in the hotel. Excursion to Matenadaran – the Research Institute in Armenia, where are collected and researched over thousands of ancient and medieval manuscripts. Following to Geghard Monastery (XIIIth c.), which is carved in the whole rock. Dinner. Following to Garni pagan tample, one of the examples of Hellenistic temples in Armenia, which dated back to the 1st century A.D. and which is devoted to Armenian pagan god- Mitra. Return to Yerevan. Farewell evening with the folk music accompaniment.


“Tremendous Monuments of Armenia”

Day 1.Arrival in Yerevan and accommodation. Free time in hotel. Yerevan City tour, acquaintance with the capital of Armenia - the most soviet and in the same time ancient capital of the Caucasus region. Free time.

Day 2.Breakfast in the hotel. Following to Echmiadzin - residence of Catholicos of all Armenians. Following to Sardarapat - ethnographic complex, where ethnographic characteristics either western so eastern Armenians are collected. Dinner. Visit the ruins of Zvartonts temple (VIIth century). Return to Yerevan and visit the museum of Sergey Parajanov.

Day 3.Breakfast in the hotel. Following to Khor Virap. It is one of the significant places ofArmenia. Here Gregory the Illuminator lived for 13 years in a dungeon, where was a tiny window, and a widow gave him food through it. Interested can descent in that dungeon. Following to Noravank. En route, stop in Areni and visiting Areni Wine Factory. Dinner at the bank of the beautiful river. Visit to Gladzor University (XIIIth century). Overnight in Sisian.

Day 4.Breakfast in the hotel. Following to Kharaunj – the ancient observatory of Armenia. Following to Tatev Monastery (IX-XIIIth cc.), one of masterpieces of Armenian architecture. Dinner. Visiting Kndzoresk – one of the most unique geological monuments of the country. Overnight in Sisian.

Day 5.Breakfast in the hotel. Following to Jermuk. Here in the South of the Republic, the nature is quite different from the North and more wild and diverse. You can bathe in hot mineral springs upon request. Dinner. Visiting Selim Caravanserai, dated back to 1332. Following to Noraduz, known by its cemetery and khachkars (“cross-stones”). Khachkars are “a uniquely Armenian form of art, which evolved into incredibly ornate form”. Visiting Hairivank Monastery (X-XIIIth cc.). Accommodation in the hotel on the beach of Sevan Lake.

Day 6.Breakfast in the hotel. Following to peninsula, where will be an opportunity to see two churches: Surb (St.) Arakelots and Astvatsatsin and to have an amazing view from above to the Lake Sevan. Following to Dilijan. Visiting Goshavank and Haghartsin Monasteries(XIIth century). Dinner. Following to Vanadzor. Accommodation.

Day 7.Breakfast in the hotel. Following to Alaverdi, visiting Haghpat Monastery (X-XIIIth cc.)and Sanahin Monastery and Bridge (Xth century), which are the real treasure of Armenia.Dinner. Following to Odzun village and visiting St. Nshan church. Following to Gyumri. Accommodation.

Day 8.Breakfast in the hotel. Gyumri City Tour, visit to the museums and churches, visit to Marmarashen Monastery (X-XIIIth cc.) in Vahramaberd village. Dinner. Following to Oshakan - the place of buried the creator of Armenian alphabet Mesrop Mashtots.Following to Yerevan. Accommodation.

Day 9.Free time.

Day 10.Breakfast in the hotel. Following to Aragatzotn marz (region). Visiting Ohanavank (Vth c.) and Sahmosavank (XIIIth c.) Monasteries. Following to Amberd Fortress. It is the fortress dated back to 11-13 centuries, where still can you find the medieval atmosphere and seems that you can see a knight on the horse back and start the battle. Picnic. Visit to Karmravor church (VIIth c.) in Ashtarak and the monastery of Surb Gevorg in Mughni village. Return to Yerevan.

Day 11.Breakfast in the hotel. Visiting the Tsitsernakaberd complex (Monument and Museum) to the victims of the 1915 Genocide. Following to Tsakhkadzor, famous for its ski resorts. Dinner. Return

to Yerevan. Upon request you can visit the performances in Opera House and theatres of Yerevan.

Day 12.Breakfast in the hotel.Excursion to Matenadaran - one of the oldest and richest

book-depositories in the world. Following to Geghard Monastery (XIIIth c.), a unique complex,carved in a whole rock. According to the legend, a spread-head was kept there, with which the guardian pierced the chest of Jesus Christ. Dinner in a villagers' house. Following to Garni Pagan Tample (Ist c. A.D.) - the only temple, which was built in Hellenistic style and where you can feel like in little Greece. Return to Yerevan. Farewell party with the folk music. Transfer to the airport

Day 1.Arrival to Yerevan. Meeting in airport, accommodation in the hotel. Free time. Yerevan City Tour. Dinner. Visiting Erebuni fortress IX-VIIth cc. B.C. Visiting the museum and ruins at thetop of the hill. Erebuni, first name of Yerevan, is town of Urartian times, very typical for that period.Dinner. Excursion to Yerevan Brandy Factory with the tasting. Free time.

Day 2.Breakfast in the hotel. Visiting Tsitsernakaberd complex. Following to Echmiadzin, where, according to the legend, Gregory the Illuminator saw the Spirit of Jesus Christ which showed where the main church must be built. That is the reason of named this complex Echmiadzin, which means ‘the descent of the One’. Following to Sardarapat and State Ethnographic Museum. Dinner. Visiting the ruins of Zvartnots Catherdral (VIIth c.). Return to Yerevan.

Day 3.Breakfast in the hotel. Visiting Sahmosavank Monastery (XII-XIIIth cc.). Following to Spitak, Vanadzor, Alaverdi – the main cities of Lori Marz (region). Visit to Haghpat Monastery (X - XIIIth cc.) Dinner. Visiting Sanahin Monastery (Xth c.) - the religious and cultural center of the medieval times. En route, there is a opportunity to visit the ancient tombs of ezids.

Day 4.Breakfast in the hotel. Following to Khor Virap, one of the most popular destinations in Armenia. Following to Areni, excursion to Areni Wine Factory with tasting and possibility to try also 'homemade' wine in the village. Following to Noravank Monastery (XIIIth c.), which is famous as the one of Momik's masterpieces, a famous Armenian sculptor existing now on the territory of RA. Besides, there is unforgettable nature with orange colored rocks. Dinner at the river bank. On the way back to Yerevan, visit to factory of hand-made carpets.

Day 5.Breakfast in the hotel. Following to Dilijan, famous region for its health resorts. Visit the beautifully landscaped XIIth century monastery of Goshavank and Haghartsin monastery (XI-XIIIth cc.). Following to Sevan Lake – besides the beauty and clearness of water, its popular also by its fish barbeque (khorovats). Visiting the monastery peninsula, which is the most popular spot. Dinner. Following to Noraduz, the cemetery of khachkars. Return to Yerevan.

Day 6.Breakfast in the hotel. Following to Karmravor church (VIIth c.) in Ashtarak, Ohanavank monastery (Vth century) in Ohanavan village, visit the Amerd fortress (XI-XIIIth cc.), which is unique also by its medieval baths. Dinner in the village. Following to Oshakan, Mesrop Mashtots church and tomb (VIIth c.). Return to Yerevan.

Day 7.Breakfast in the hotel. Excursion to Matenadaran, interesting by its collection of about 17000 manuscripts includes almost all the areas of ancient and medievalArmenian culture and sciences. Following to Geghard (XIIIth c.)- incredible medieval Armenian monastery. Following to Garni Pagan Temple. Picnic. Return to Yerevan. Farewell dinner and transfer to the airport

Day 1.Arrival to Yerevan, accommodation in the hotel (3*/4*). Free time. Yerevan City Tour (Yerevan City Center, War Museum and Mother Armenia Monument, Erebuni Fortress and Museum, Museum of Yerevan History). Dinner. Following to Echmiadzin - visiting the Monasteries of St. Hripsimeh (VIIth century), St. Gayaneh (VIIth century), St. Echmiadzin Cathedral (4-13th cc.), visiting ruins of Zvartnots temple (VIIth century). Return to Yerevan.

Day 2.Breakfast in the hotel. Visiting Tsitsernakaberd Museum and Monument, commemorated the 1915 Armenian Genocide. Following to Karmravor church (VIIth century) in Ashtarak, Ohanavank Monastery (Vth century) in Ohanavan village, visiting the Amberd Fortress, situated near Byurakan town, where it will be the possibility to observe the church ruins, dated back to 1206 and to visit Byurakan Observatory by request. Picnic. Visiting Oshakan – the place, where Mesrop Mashtots, the creator of Armenian Alphabet, is buried. Return to Yerevan.

Day 3.Breakfast in the hotel. Following to Khor Virap Monastic Complex. This place is famous by the beautiful legend about Grigor Lusovorich (Gregory the Illuminator) - the person,who tried to spread Christianity in Armenia and was arrested by King Trdat III. Following to Areni village and visiting Areni Wine Factory with the tasting of the best Armenian wines. Following to Noravank Monastery (XIII-XIVth cc). Dinner at the beautiful river bank. Return to Yerevan.

Day 4.Breakfast in the hotel. Visiting Matenadaran – the Armenian Research Institute, where over the thousands ancient and medieval manuscripts are collected. Following to Geghard Monastery (XIIIth century). Following to Garni pagan temple, dated back to Ist c. A.D.(the only temple, which was built in Hellenistic style and according to the legend was the summer rest house of Armenian kings). Dinner in a hospitable villagers’ house. Following to Lake Sevan – the pearl of Armenia. Lake is located at 1900 meters altitude above the sea level. Visiting Sevan Monastery, consisted of 2 churches – Surb (St.) Arakelots (IXth c.) and Surb (St.)Astvatsatsin (IXth c.). Return to Yerevan. Farewell party (with Armenian folk music).
